Andrew Scott stars as Billy Pilgrim, a man who comes "unstuck in time", flailing from one fearful moment in
wartime to one in the restful 1960s. He keeps coming back to the war, he goes ahead to see his own death - and he's
captured by aliens. But it's not about aliens or time travel, it's about the most heightened way of feeling lost and
utterly disconnected from the chaos around you. It's about the hopelessness of war, even the ridiculousness of it, its
disregard for life, its brutal smashing of all our individuality. Dave Sheasby's dramatisation exguisitely captures the
chaos and contrasts. It's not an easy tale, but it'll stay with you.
